Japan Import Car began life importing high performance Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles into Britain. Vehicles such as the Nissan Skyline. It was quickly realised that there was a massive market for spare parts, mainly for the Nissan Skyline but also for other Japanese cars such as the Nissan Silvia, 180SX, 200SX, S13, S14, S15 vehicles, and so Skylinepart came into existence as a sister company to Japan Import Car.

Team Skylinepart is a professional drift team owned and run by company owner Anthony ‘Scotty’ Scott. Originally competing using a Nissan Skyline, Scotty has since built and competes in a Nissan Sil80 S13 known to us all the “Rocket Bunny”. This has to be the UK’s most well known, well loved and most photographed drift car. Competing predominantly in the Drift Allstars European Series (formerly JDM Allstars) and a handful of other special events, the team travel all over the UK and Europe drawing massive attention wherever the Rocket Bunny hops up.
